Brief
Develop highly crafted visuals for three covers in a book series, after exploring the needs and purpose of the series, and progressing the design’s concept. These visuals will include front covers, spines, and back covers.
To enable later editors and designers to create further titles in the series, provide annotated template(s) and effective instructions.
The concept and design should be suitable for further titles within the series, and so series identity, genre, the market, and the competition, should also be researched and understood. The cover’s pictorial and typographic elements, as well as materiality, should support the themes of the books within the series.
